Privacy Policy
How your personal information is collected, used, and shared.
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how VeyaHerb ("we") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from this website.
Prices on our website are shown in US dollars (USD) by default. We do not change prices or currency based on your location. Our hosting and security provider identifies which country your IP address belongs to; this is used only to decide whether to show you the cookie consent banner, and the result is stored in a cookie for up to one year.
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect the pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the site. We refer to this as "Device Information".
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- Cookies — data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier;
- Log files — track actions on the site and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages and date/time stamps;
- Web beacons, tags and pixels — electronic files used to record information about how you browse the site.
Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and phone number. We refer to this as "Order Information". Payment details are entered on an encrypted (TLS) connection and processed by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the Order Information we collect generally to fulfil orders placed through the site (including processing your payment, arranging shipping and providing invoices and/or order confirmations). We also use Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- Provide you with information or marketing relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information we collect to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and more generally to improve and optimise the site.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your personal information only with the service providers that help us run this store: PayPal and our USDT manual payment channel (payment processing), email services (order and marketing email) and site analytics tools (website analytics and usage statistics). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only for the purposes listed here.
We do not sell your personal information.
Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioural Advertising
As described above, we use your personal information to provide targeted advertisements we believe may interest you. You can opt out of targeted advertising at any time: Google — https://www.google.com/settings/ads; Meta — https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads; or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page https://optout.aboutads.info/. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to [email protected].
Cookies and Consent
We set a small number of cookies the site needs to work: your shopping cart, your currency and language choice, and a record of your cookie decision. These do not require consent.
With your permission we also load analytics and advertising tools. If you visit from the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these tools stay off until you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings in the footer; visitors from other regions can opt out via the links in the "Behavioural Advertising" section above.
Do Not Track
Please note that we do not alter our data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Your Rights
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the GDPR (and its UK and Swiss equivalents) gives you the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
- have your data erased where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to our processing, including for direct marketing;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (orders, delivery, refunds), our legitimate interests (fraud screening, site improvement) and your consent (analytics and advertising cookies, marketing email). To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.
International transfers. We are based in China and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses.
California Residents
If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Advertising pixels may count as "sharing"; you can opt out via the cookie settings in the footer or by emailing [email protected]. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
